I don't know much about the bars/clubs in Paradise Island (well, at least the mature classy ones) but it sounds and looks like the Sandal Royal Bahamian will be a great choice for you and your boyfriend as far as avoiding loud kids. There's also the
British Colonial Hilton which seems to enable you to avoid the problems you might encounter at a place like the Atlantis. The rooms look quite nice considering the price.
