The Kölner Dom cathedral is the must-see top attraction in Cologne. This popular landmark is the unofficial symbol for the city and it took more than 600 years to complete.

Its twin towers are 157 meters (515 feet) tall and the church is 144 meters (472 feet) long. The cathedral is under the control of the Roman Catholic Church and is the seat of the Archbishop of Cologne.
