This would depend on what it is you would like to do. Do you want to go swimming, visit the beach, visit the mountains, go to a large city, etc? If you want to go whitewater rafting, then head to the mountains during the summer. If you want to see the City Life, then going to Atlanta just about anytime would be good. If you want to see snow (and there is no guarantee you will), try to visit North Georgia anytime from late December to early March. North Georgia doesn't get a lot of snow, and when it does snow, it melts quickly. If you want to see GA during the spring with the beautiful flowering trees & flowers, then visit April & May. Of course, leaf changing season is from mid-October to the 1st - 2nd week in November. There are a lot of fall festivals, apples orchards, and pumpkin picking from the end of September and through October. |
