Hi there,
Delaware has three counties: New Castle, Kent, and Sussex.
- Kent county contains the Capital, Dover which contains a Nascar race track.
- Sussex county contains the resort beach areas.
- New Castle county is urban, suburban sprawl. While the roads all lead to
Wilmington for the daily commute, the public transportation system is pretty much limited to buses (with a train line from Newark to Wilmington to Philadelphia run by Philadelphia public transport). There are very few buses in the evening and almost none at night.
Some good points about Dover include: only about 2 hours from Washington DC, low taxes, there's no sales taxes, etc.
Dover Delaware is considered to be the 'slower' Delaware, partly due to the high retirement/resort population in Sussex county, and partly due to urban versus farming rivalry.
Hope this helps
