Everyone says London, but I've worked and studied in northeast England for nearly a year and it was incredible! It's almost like the forgotten part of Britain. You can go see the North Sea, Hadrian's Wall, all the dozens of coastal castles, Scotland is an hour train ride away and Newcastle has an AMAZING nightlife!! Plus, the gorgeous northumberland countryside goes without saying, travel up north, you won't regret it!!
