Poland is not as cheap as it once was but it is still very affordable and one of the cheapest cities in Europe so, even if you're on a tight budget you can have a great time.

On a tight budget you could get by on a daily average of around US$38 and that would mean staying in cheap hotels and hostels, food in budget restaurants, travel at a reasonable pace by train or bus.

Cities are more expensive than the rural areas, with Warsaw and Kraków being the most expensive cities to stay on.
