Monsoon season runs from June to September and it is probably the most uncomfortable time to travel to India. Places such as Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, are hit by a later monsoon period that begins toward mid-October.

The best and most pleasant time to visit India is during September and October, or March and April. These are also good times if you want to save some money.
