Travel to Lanai City does offer plenty of different activities and it all depends when you intend to travel to Hawaii.
If you want to enjoy surfing and see the migration of Humpback whales, the best place is along the North Shore and winter (October to April) time is the
best time to come.
In the other hand, sailing and boating is best enjoyed in the
summer time which runs from May to October.
