That's good answer. Berlin is my favorite city in Europe. The German capital is truly captivating. Berlin’s rich, varied and often dramatic history, combined with its ambitious and progressive present, leave the city endowed with more than its fair share of visitor attractions.

For the first time visitor, these are my top five:

1. The Reichstag,
2. Checkpoint Charlie,
3. The Berlin Wall,
4. Treptower Park,
5. The Tiergarten .
