Things to do in Dominican Republic include:

- Sightseeing national parks such as the El Choco National Park in Cabarete, where you can do bird spotting and explore the fauna and flora

- If you like museums and historical sites, then the Columbus Lighthouse is another thing to visit. The lighthouse is home in Santo Domingo and was created from white marble.

- Whale Watching is another popular attraction. The best place to enjoy whale watching is Samana during January and May.
