Default Re: lighthouses in Rhode Island

hi there,

Yes, there are numerous lighthouses in Rhode Island and many of them are a National Historic Landmark but unfortunetly many of these lighthouses are not open to the public.

Some of the popular lighthouses include:

- The Prudence Island Lighthouse, which can be found in the middle of Narragansett Bay, is the oldest lighthouse in Rhode Island.

- The Beavertail Lighthouse, which can be found on Conanicut Island, features a small museum that you can visit between mid-May and mid-October.

- The Castle Hill Lighthouse, which is located on Aquidneck island, is not open to the public but you can get up-close to it and get lovely views.
