Various Belize events take place every month of the year around the country, so regardless of when you plan your Belize vacation you should be able to experience one of them.

Two popular events include:

- The Coconut Festival on Caye Caulker in May.
- The Carnival celebrations all over the country in February.

If you like culture, dancing, and music, there are definitely a few Belize festivals that you'll want to consider attending.

It's important to note that on official holidays in Belize, government offices and banks close down, as do many stores. Transportation services might decrease on official holidays as well.
