My reccomendation would be to go to the Tambopata Rainforest area in Peru. The whole logstics is much simpler and much cheaper and you can even make a stop in Cuzco and Machu Picchu if you havent been there already. For example, there are daily flights from Lima to Puerto Maldonado (1 hour flight) at an avergae cost of $149 per person each way.


There ares everal good lodges which offer a buffet of activites you can pick and choose. They have canoe rides, fishing, claylik visits, night walks, etc.
