Hi there,
Your itinerary sounds fantastic, a few suggestions I would add are:
- Since you'll be in KL for a couple of days, dont miss out on the most famous Malaysia tourist attraction in Kuala Lumpur, the Petronas Twin Towers.
You can get amazing panoramic views of the city as well as enjoy arcades, and an assortment of restaurants.
- Langkawi Island top
attraction is the Pulau Payar Marine Park where you can enjoy diving and snorkeling. There’s an underwater observatory and many beautiful
beaches to enjoy.
After Palau Payar Marine Park, you can head, as you mentioned, on to Penang and visit Georgetown or take the train down to Kuala Lumpur and do some exciting city exploration.
- Borneo is also another must if you can fit it in. In the
Borneo rain forest you can do canopy walks, and explore the burial site of the first area settlers, called the Kadazandusunburial, and swimming in the refreshing rock pools below stunning waterfalls found along the way.
Hope this helps
