Well you won't see much by renting a car. I would spent one day as a stopover in Lima, fly directly to Cusco (1day) and visit the sacred valley (1 day), machu picchu (1or 2 days), back to cusco and Lima (1 day). Short trip but do what you can. Peru for Less may have a short or custom tour that would suit your needs as well.
If you try jamming more in a quick side trip to Lake Titicaca would be nice and fly directly back to Lima. |
