Hey wcptraveler,

I haven't been to too many mountains there but when I was visiting a cousin, he took me to Black Mountain of Maine. It was great! It was a $20 ski all day lift ticket when I went up and they have great affordable food. What's even better....I hear they've now become a tabacco-free ski area. I'm not much of a smoker and don't enjoy being around those who do. You should check it out.
