Hi Colleen,

That's quite the baggage you'll have! Unfortunately, most airlines don't allow large dogs into the cabin. As such, you'll have to check in your pet. So you'll have to make sure that you have a kennel or a container approved for air travel. Keep in mind that the area where checked baggage is stored will be much colder than the cabin. I assume you'll be flying Alaska Airlines...So here's Details on traveling with pets by the Alaska Airlines regulations. It can definitely explain everything better than I ever could.
