Thanks for the info on Malaekahana Campground, we found info on it in our travel books. Is it a place we can park a rental car safely while we're in the campground? All we heard the last time we came was that we needed to watch our stuff or It'll be gone, we didnt and it wasn't. Do you get the same feel these days? We just enjoyed the locals company and maybe that was key to an enjoyably safe visit.
As for activities yeah festivals and such would be great. Surf competitions, great hikes, best sunset/sunrise locations, place to get a good local meal on the windward or northshore. Thanks for any info you can offer.
