Peru, well, Peru is simply the best. In what other country can you drive from the desert Coast thru the high Andes snow covered peaks, on to the Rainforest in a one day's drive thru all paved road,,, only Peru.

Regarding Peru, however, I'll credit Ric with getting it COMPLETELY right! You can literally be surfing in the Pacific one day, hiking at 14,000 feet above sea level in the Andes the next day, and relaxing in a hammock in the Amazon the next. And Peruvian food is the BEST... Ric forgot to mention: Papa a la Huancaina, Aji de Gallina, Tallarin Verde, Cabrito a la Chiclayana... the list goes on and on... Enjoy!
