Hey everyone! Thinking of visiting the Hoover Dam? Here are some helpful tips in planning your vacation.
Their operating hours are:
Parking Garage: Open 8:00 a.m. -- Close 6:00 p.m.
Tour Center: Open 9:00 a.m. -- Close 6:00 p.m. Tickets sold until 5:15 p.m.
-There's a list of prohibited vehicles that they do not allow to cross the Hoover Dam. (Click

-The Parking fee is cash only $7.00
-Their busiest time is in the summer from Memorial Day until Labor Day and Spring Break.
-Slower months tend to be Januaray and February.
-Least crowded time is 9:00am-10:30am or 3:00pm-4:45pm.
-If you're going in the summer make sure you wear light clothing, use lots of sunscreen and carry bottles of water.
-The tours do not allow any type of food, drink without a cap, and chewing gum.
