True for Nice and her area as fas as wine is concerned. Otherwise Nice is by Provence which hosts the famous Côtes de Provence in the Var departement. You can find pretty good wines there. Go as far as Bandol and you'll hit the big thing in a wonderful setting too. True the Rhone Valley has excellent wines too but it is too far from Nice.

"Carpe Diem" at Cotignac is gorgeous, nut there are dozens of them. Pick up the places on a map, build your own route and go at random, you'll definitely have good surprises ! |
