Default Re: Experienced Peru Traveler Here

My husband and I are making plans to travel to Peru - probably in September. We would be flying into Lima and then want to visit Paracas, Nazca, Colca Canyon, Lake Titicaca, Cuzco and Machu Pichu/Aguas Caliente -- and not necessarily in that order.

I have a lot of questions: First of all, is there an air travel pass that would let you fly to several cities for one fee. How about buses? What are the differences between regular buses and "tourist" buses. I have read about some buses with "bed" seats for overnight travel.

Would we be better off arranging a tour or individual programs in each city. How difficult is it to get from place to place with only a little bit of Spanish (we have travelled in Spain, Mexico, Ecuador, etc.)

Any help you can give would be appreciated.

Finally, I would love to go to the Inti Raymi Festival, I am sure it is very exciting. How can we do that and get from place to place.

Many thanks for your help.
