It takes about 4 hours to drive there from Downtown Seattle. There's a couple ways to get there either the Bainbridge Ferry, driving through Tacoma over the Narrows bridge to the 101, or the 12 straight out to the coast up then head north to Lake Ozette.
Whats great about the area is the diversity you can go from the Ocean to the Rainforest in less than an hour and for teh adventures you can climb a Glacier capped mountain called Mt. Olympus which is a 4 day hike deep into the rainforest. I would rate this area of the coast as one of Washington's top attractions. |
