Germans love their soccer....or, futbol, so if they're in season, check out the local team! Aww, nevermind, Kiel Week occurs during the two months or so of off-season. I've been around Kiel but never in the town, but friends have enjoyed the small-town atmosphere and the laid-back nightlife. If you get bored you can always take a daytrip or something south to Hamburg ( ~ 1 hour drive) or even north into Denmark. |
