Re: whats up with this vegas forum? Hi Merrylegs,
The good news for you is that Vegas is obviously filled with a ridiculous amount of entertainment. You can take a cab from the airport to the strip and it won't take you longer then 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Since you'll want to be back to the airport a few hours before your flight, you'll have at least 8 hours or so of solid Vegas time.
I'm not sure which 12 hours of the day or night you will be there, but you might take in a show. You can buy tickets online in advance, though they are usually cheaper at little box offices throughout the hotels on the strip. Since you don't want to waste time standing in line, though, I'd reccommend either skipping the shows or buying a ticket in advance.
If you want to drink and gamble, I would reccommend heading to a casino like Ceasar's or Bellagio; once you've been sitting for a little while you'll get free drinks. This is basically true of all the casinos so you can really just choose your favorite. I would also reccommend heading to "New York New York". You can ride their rollercoaster, check out their themed and enormous casino, and when you're done the Eiffel Tower and Bellagio Fountain are not too far away. |
