 Honduras Vacation advice

Sorry I had to post this here since theres no "Honduras" thread.
Has anyone had any luck vacationing in Honduras? What can I expect to see? Are there any areas to stay away from? My brother is marrying to a Hondo-American family so I may be traveling there later in the year.
