Sounds like a fantastic trip, Morgan. All I can suggest is that you get a nice rough plan of how the trip will go and leave room for improvisation and the occasional section taking longer than you intended. But it sounds like you're doing that by taking Europe "hella easy" and resting in Canada. That way if other parts run long you can always catch up on those easy sections.

I agree, if you have the means and the time, why fly? You can only see so much when you're 30,000 feet in the air. Clounds look the same everywhere. Good luck and keep one hand on that camera.
