South Carolina Campgrounds are popular during the summer so I would suggest making sure that you reserve your spot. One of the most popular ones is Santee State Park. It's near Lake Marion. You can tent camp or get a cabin. I'm not sure if you're all guys traveling or girls or a mix but definitely want to make sure everyone's willing to rough it if you go tent camping.
