Cirque du Soleil announced plans to startup an Elvis Presley-themed show in the Las Vegas.

The Quebec-based circus troupe has teamed with Elvis Presley Enterprises, to create the show. MGM Mirage's Hotel CityCenter will be the permanent home when it opens in November 2009.

The announcement of the new Cirque du Soleil show's location was timed for "Elvis Week," when Elvis fans from around the world head to Memphis for the anniversary of his death on August 16th, 1977.
