 Astroland Amusement Park closing
Coney Island's Astroland Amusement Park has been sold and will close after the 2007 season. I'm sure many people will be sad to see it go but it was old and tired.
The new owners will convert the boardwalk space into a year-round Las Vegas-style entertainment complex but it faces some opposition so we'll have to wait to see the final
plan
