Howdy from Wyoming!
Devil's Tower is very cool to hike around as well as see from the distance. You will want to avoid this place unless you are on 2 wheels from Aug 6th to the 12th as that is during the Sturgis Rally and since you are planning on going over this way, it's not to far to the Black Hills and Mt Rushmore or Deadwood- if you enjoy Gambling.

If you really want to stay in Wyoming then head to Cheyenne Frontier Days from July 20-27th (see prior post) or Yellowstone National Park, this is where you will travel miles and miles to see the spectacular sites including Old Faithful, (the largest Volcano) - could errupt while you are visiting!
Elk, Bears, Antelope, Deer, Beaver's you name it and you will probably see it!
