I'm not sure what kind of view you were looking for your husband but I would recommend looking into either the Makaha Resort & Golf Club on Oahu. It's got your classic course that requires a variety of shots and use of almost all your clubs. The resort itself is located near the Waianae Mountains overlooking the Pacific Ocean. On the property you'll find the 18-hole championship course, pro-shop, pool, the works.

If that's a bit too far away, then try the Ko'olau Golf Course. It's about a 20-minute drive from downtown Honolulu on the Pali highway. It's got great view of mountains, fairways, all surrounded by the rainforest and the ocean. So if you decide on this course, then there's always the attraction of Pali Lookout nearby and you're still within driving distance of downtown and many other areas.

Well the weather in Hawai'i is, for the most part, consistent. During the months of May to October it'll vary from day to day but on average I'd say around 85 degrees F. From November to April it'll lower to about an average of 78 degrees. Depending on where you're from, those temperatures aren't bad!I Generally, April-November is considered to be the low-sesason but definitely do your research on flights. You may be able to catch a deal somewhere!
