Re: travel from Rome to Sicily Hey there all. I thought I might throw some advice in about how to get from Rome to Sicily. Allitalia offers more than ten daily flights between Rome and Palermo. That being said, taking a train is what many travelers do, as it is very convenient. From Rome, it takes around twelve hours to get to Palermo, give or take an hour depending on the speed of the train. Travelers are encouraged to consider getting a rail pass of some kind when looking to rely on trains for getting around Italy/Europe in general. |
