Get off of your ship and go to the tourist information center. There will be a school bus that will take you to Mendenhall for $5/passenger. That sure beats the price you will get on the boat.
The bus will take you to the visitors center at Mendenhall and pick you up at the same place they dropped you. The bus runs every 15-30 minutes!
