Here's a listing of a number of wine tours in the Barcelona area that would serve as nothing more than a day trip (or a half day). I've never been to any of them personally, so I can't vouch for them.
Then there's
this one, which a friend of mine actually went on. He enjoyed himself fine, but he doesn't know much about wine.
