Default Re: skiing in the Alpes

Hi Kiwi Girl

I am sure it would be €550 for the week. Yes skiing holidays can be expensive but if they don't have to break the bank. This would be a usual breakdown of costs in Chamonix:

Accommodation in Feb: €175-250 per person (this would reduce if your group is large and depends on the quality of the accommodation)
Ski Hire: €100
Insurance - you can get annual multitrip insurance for €50
Ski Pass €150
Evening Meals: €25 per night (If you are self catering this would obviously be left or if you are in a fully catered chalet this would be included in original cost)
Day Meal & Drinks €15
Evening entertainment: Dependant on what you do

I hope this helps - have fun!!
