My husband and i are first time visitors to Las vegas and are to be arriving on the 17th January, we are looking for a reasonably priced well situated hotel, that is not too smokey.

I have heard that there can be some good deals at that time of year. Should i wait for as long possible before booking?

Any recommendations/advice would be appreciated.
