The zoo is just one of many things to see in Atlanta. In the downtown area, you can take stroll through Centennial Olympic Park or visit Underground Atlanta. One of the most visited areas is Stone Mountain Park located just outside the perimeter to the east of
Atlanta. For a day of them park action, visit Six Flags to the west of downtown. Also worth seeing is Fernbank Museum, Atlanta’s Cyclorama located not far from the zoo, Grant Park, and the historic Oakland Cemetery founded in 1850.
