First off, a bus or train ride from Rio to Iguassu is very time consuming (a full day more or less), so many travelers hope to execute the trip by way of plane. Some of the flights from Rio to Iguassu, if I'm not mistaken, stop in Curitiba before continuing on their way, while others are direct. Also something to think about are travel packages that include some time in Rio and a visit to the Iguassu Falls. These packages can make life easy, as they virtually take care of everything that is necessary (i.e. transportation, most or some of your meals, and accommodations). |
