The Killers?...They are currently launching their sophomore release with the very Vegas friendly title: Sam's Town (which, if you don't know, is
one of the locals' casinos in the Vegas area....
CBGB is going to be in a new area descibed by many as
Freemont East, where
Beauty Bar currently resides...watch for the development of this area in the next few years...there is hope to begin the first phase this fall!
Also, Vegas has been conducting a
"First Friday" event featuring live music and the arts for the past few years...it has slowly been building momentum and will also contribute to the neophyte music scene beginning to develop
