Another favorite of ours is a Cuban joint called Cafecito (185 Avenue C,between 11th & 12th St). It was a few blocks from our old apartment before moving to Costa Rica and before we moved we tried to go as often as we could. Delicious food and not expensive. VERY TASTY sangria too!!
