Default Re: Oktoberfest and the Romantic Road

The Romantic Road is one of the most impossibly romantic drives, just ever, and with all the castles and gorgeous countryside beauties, I don't wonder why it's called the Romantic Road. The original post, here, states that they were going in 2008, but it's never too late to add a little more so anyone else searching for information for their own trips in the future can gather interesting tidbits to help with planning a trip on the Romantic Road with a destination for Oktoberfest in Germany. Knowing the main cities along the journey will help to get an idea of where the map will take you. The Romantic Road website will give you a good idea of which cities you might want to include on your own journey. If it's possible to have a gps, go with that, because it's always best to have a little prep, and keep a few maps with you for back ups, in case the gps isn't doing the job.
