Hi Davis Ira,

I'll try and answer some of your questions.

1) It will be winter time when you visit, so you will probably be better off visiting the major cities such as Paris, Lyon, Nice etc. You could also go skiing in the French Alps.

2) A good place to start your research is the official website of the France Tourist Board (I am not yet allowed to post links so you'll have to find it on Google)

3) I have no idea how long it would take to get a visa - it depends on where you are travelling from.

4) I think in 3 months you will be able to see quite a lot of the country - France has a good and fast rail network.
