You are right vermont is a GREAT place to take your 5 year old daughter. If she enjoys bike riding there are MANY great places to rent and go for a scenic ride in the Lake Champlain Area. Another good choice is one of the many "new england-y" farms or maple houses all over vermont. Below are a few links that will help you find a few destinations.
