Your best best in one of the indoor waterparks in the Smoky Mountains regions. But if you want an actual swim-in-the-ocean beach, you'll have to head east through North Carolina to the coast. It's a seven or eight hour drive...so that may be too long for a short vacation. I'm sure there are some lakes around there with sandy beaches.
