As I know, Tivoli garden is a must see place in Copenhagen. It is a theme park located in the centre of the city. Tivoli has open-air stages and concert hall where dozens of concerts, pantomimes and circus shows, many of them free. The Little Mermaid is a beautiful statue and a Copenhagen's most famous tourist attraction. The statue was created by Edward Eriksen in 1913 who was inspired by a fairytale of Hans Christian Andersen. You should not miss this during your trip.
Copenhagen has many good restaurants and The Kommandanten is a more elegant, restaurant with French cuisine. You can have free-range pork and chanterelles, spring potatoes, etc. here. Aladdin is an oriental-styled fast-food place, and at midnight, you can watch the fireworks display. Here, common international dishes, such as Baked Potatoes and Burgers are available.
