 going to Maine
I find April, May and September remarkably cheap to fly to Maine, especially in September right after Labor Day. Where in Maine you want to go? If you wanted to go to Bar Harbor south, it might make more sense to fly into Bangor, though Portland will be much cheaper.
No matter where you go, be sure to tour Acadia National Park, take the elevator to the top of the new bridge at Bucksport, and stop in Camden for a bit of shopping and dining. |
