Default Re: Big Sur by public transport?

In Big Sur, you can find many places to stay. I and my wife just came back from Big sur after a long vacation. We stayed at the Big sur Lodge which is located in ancient groves of redwoods and oaks in Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park on the Big Sur River. Easy access to Big Sur, Andrew Molera and Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Parks and Point Lobos State Reserve. Having Comfortable rooms and the general store and the restaurants are nearby. Big Sur is located approximately 30 miles south of Monterey and public Transportation is available to and from Monterey. We went by car and we visited Cannery Row and the old Fisherman’s Wharf which are the best tourist attractions. We enjoyed site of the renowned Monterey Aquarium. Whale watching tours, deep sea fishing charters etc., We saw several parking garages in downtown Monterey and a free trolley bus to take you around the city. We would like to go back again! Have a nice time!
