Who knows how much help this would be, but I found
this site which sounds a lot like what you might enjoy doing, plus they've got some great images up. I've never cycled Patagonia myself (though it sounds/looks like a blast!) These guys traveled a little under 2000 km. How much riding were you looking to do?
