Hi! I just wanted to mentioned that the problem with the water level in Iguazu took place in Sep / Oct 2006... The level is now normal (probably higher than normal as it's been raining for a while)...
To travel from Iguazu to Rio, there are direct buses ("cama" service)... or you may like to go to Florianopolis first for a couple of days and then, Rio...
